Walking Taco Bake: A Crowd-Pleaser in Every Bite!

Ingredients
Base:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
Layering:
3 cups tortilla chips, slightly crushed
1 cup salsa
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Optional Toppings:
Chopped lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Sliced black olives
Sliced jalapeños
Fresh cilantro

Directions

Cook the Ground Beef:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.

Assemble the Casserole:
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer crushed tortilla chips, beef mixture, salsa, sour cream, and cheese.

Bake:
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:
Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, olives, or jalapeños.
