SWEET AND TANGY BBQ CHICKEN MEATBALL PASTA

INGREDIENTS:

🍝

 12 OZ PASTA (ANY TYPE)

🍗

 1 LB GROUND CHICKEN

🥄

 1/4 CUP BBQ SAUCE

🧅

 1/4 CUP ONION (FINELY CHOPPED)

🧄

 2 CLOVES GARLIC (MINCED)

🧂

 1 TSP SALT

🧂

 ½ TSP PEPPER

🧈

 2 TBSP BUTTER

🍅

 1 CUP TOMATO SAUCE

🍯

 2 TBSP HONEY

🧀

 ½ CUP MOZZARELLA CHEESE (SHREDDED)

🌿

 FRESH BASIL (FOR GARNISH)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1️⃣

 PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°F (190°C).

2️⃣

 MIX GROUND CHICKEN WITH BBQ SAUCE, ONION, GARLIC, SALT, AND PEPPER. FORM INTO SMALL MEATBALLS.

3️⃣

 PLACE MEATBALLS ON A BAKING SHEET AND BAKE FOR 15-20 MINUTES UNTIL COOKED THROUGH.

4️⃣

 COOK PASTA AS PER PACKAGE DIRECTIONS AND DRAIN.

5️⃣

 IN A PAN, MELT BUTTER AND ADD TOMATO SAUCE, HONEY, AND ADDITIONAL BBQ SAUCE. SIMMER UNTIL COMBINED.

6️⃣

 ADD COOKED PASTA AND MEATBALLS TO THE PAN, STIR WELL TO COMBINE.

7️⃣

 TOP WITH SHREDDED MOZZARELLA AND GARNISH WITH FRESH BASIL. SERVE HOT AND ENJOY!
