Macaroni and Cheeseburger Delight
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for lighter option)
2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups whole milk
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Return the cooked macaroni and ground beef to the skillet. Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy!
