These Ooey Gooey Bars are a decadent and irresistible dessert. The buttery crust is the perfect base for the gooey, creamy filling. They are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:

Yellow cake mix (dry) | 1 box |
Melted butter | 8 tablespoons |

For the Gooey Layer | |
Cream cheese (softened) | 8 oz |
Eggs (beaten) | 2 |
Powdered sugar | 16 oz |
Instructions:
Cool: Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Make the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the dry cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth and well-combined. Pat the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Make the gooey layer: In a separate large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the beaten eggs and beat for a couple of minutes. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until well-combined.
Assemble: Pour the gooey layer evenly over the prepared crust.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until done. Do not overbake.
