Copycat Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak strips, season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, whisking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Add Italian seasoning and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
Plate the pasta, top with the cooked steak strips, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
