Ingredients :

8 oz (about 2 cups) pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)

1 lb ground beef

6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes (drained)

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tbsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup heavy cream

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the pasta:
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Drain any excess grease.

3️⃣ Create the sauce:
Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

4️⃣ Combine pasta and sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, stirring until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce.

5️⃣ Add cheese and cream:
Lower the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

6️⃣ Add bacon:
Stir in the crumbled bacon, saving some for garnish.

7️⃣ Serve and enjoy:
Serve warm, garnished with parsley or green onions if desired.

Pro Tip

For extra flavor, add diced pickles or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the sauce for a true cheeseburger taste!
