Cheesy Taco Sticks
Ingredients:
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough
5 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning to the beef, following the packet instructions. Stir until well combined and set aside to cool slightly.
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 10 equal rectangles.
Place a portion of the seasoned beef onto each rectangle, then top with a halved cheese stick.
Roll the dough around the filling, pinching the edges tightly to seal, and place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this mixture generously over each taco stick.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.
Allow the taco sticks to cool slightly before serving for easier handling.
