Root Beer Baked Beans
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups cooked navy beans
- 1 cup root beer (preferably sugar-free)
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or a sugar substitute)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
**INSTRUCTIONS:**
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked navy beans, root beer, diced onions, and bell pepper.
3. Stir in the apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
