Flourless Avocado Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado (mashed)

🍯 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)

🍫 1/2 cup cocoa powder

🥚 3 large eggs

🧂 1/4 tsp salt

🥄 1 tsp vanilla extract

🥄 1 tsp baking powder

🍫 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional for extra richness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mash the Avocado

In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth and creamy.

3️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients

Whisk the mashed avocado with maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.

4️⃣ Add Dry Ingredients

Stir in the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until fully incorporated. If you’re using chocolate chips, fold them in now.

5️⃣ Pour & Smooth

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

6️⃣ Bake

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few crumbs. The cake should be slightly fudgy.

7️⃣ Cool & Serve

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
