Vanilla Bundt Cake

Ingredients:
For the cake:
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup buttermilk
For the glaze:
• 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
• 2-3 tablespoons milk or cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
9. While the cake is cooling, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
10. Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top. Allow the glaze to set before slicing and serving.
