Meltaway Brownie Cookies
Ingredients:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix melted butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Fold in chocolate chips for extra fudginess (optional).
Scoop dough onto the baking sheet using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, spacing 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are slightly soft. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
